Dating from the 16th century, this traditional rural free house, is situated in some of Buckinghamshire's least spoilt countryside, between St Leonards and The Lee.
In winter it offers a warm and cosy bar and really good value restaurant where you can enjoy a pleasant lunchtime or evening. In the warm summer months the substantial gardens create a delightfully tranquil escape from the noise and haste of the modern life.
As one reviewer on Trip-advisor remarked: "This place is what an English country pub should be; quiet, pretty, well kept beer, excellent food, a beautiful garden and an absolute delight in the summer."We couldn't have put it better ourselves!
