Traditional 16th century Free House positioned in the pretty village of Bledlow in the rolling Chiltern hills. The area is popular with walkers and 'The Lions' provides the perfect destination for lunch or dinner with a variety of real ales and good wholesome cooking.
The original low oak beams and large open fire make it a frequent feature in Midsomer Murders and other TV series. There is also a spacious garden and further seating on the village green from where the steam train of the Chinnor/Prince Risborough private railway can be seen.
Printed menus are supplemented by meat & fish and vegetarian'Specials Boards' which are varied regularly. The pub is CAMRA listed and features a range of real ales including Wadworth, Loddon, Tring and Burton Bridge, alongside ever-changing local brews.
There is also a separate dining room which is ideal for parties and private functions.
