The Olympic Gamer game review site presented a very different kind of challenge. The aim was to produce a site that was a little unusual and with navigation that would be fun to use.
The banner area is a moving carousel that the user can rotate by clicking any of the images to right or left of the central display. Below this initial display there is a horizontal slide-show depicting the ‘Editor’s Choice’ games for the current period.
The homepage displays the most current reviews and for this we employed the same system that had been created for Aylesbury Auto Centre’s homepage. This lends itself favourably to being rated by Google and other search engines, due to its regularly updated content.
