Aylesbury Auto Centre is essentially an online portal that lists a number of vehicles marketed by a number of diverse dealerships in and around the High Wycombe and Aylesbury areas of Buckinghamshire.
In fact it is a hobby site of South Bucks Net and since we are also a directory submission service for local businesses, it started out as a means to test the procedures and evaluate the responses of Google Local Advertising.
Our remit therefore was as follows:
- We required a site that would showcase a variety of cars
- The navigation should be clean and simple
- There would be a slideshow system so that stock could be viewed
- Various categories of vehicle would be required
- Categories of vehicle should display only those vehicles appropriate to their classification
- Advertising blocks would be needed
- There should be lots of areas for images of the vehicles
- White space is very important in classified style pages
